diTTo evolution

The diTTo film scanner has evolved and grown and become a solution for any film scanning application.

diTTo uses cutting edge digital film acquisition technology to ensure the highest image quality and repeatability, diTTo utilises a 3 colour light source and solid state low noise detection device to produce high resolution, repeatable results. diTTo incorporates a PC GUI to make the management of the scanning process and the delivery of image files straightforward.

diTTo has evolved with new High Dynamic Range imaging providing an unequalled density range to 3.2D. Perfect for all film types, especially PRINT. diTTo has evolved to incorporate built in GRACE- film grain management and STEADY - image stabilisation in addition to D/SCO- the optical Dust/Scratch Concealment system.

diTTo has evolved a fast post production workflow with over 100fps fast shuttle, ideal for EDL based scanning. diTTo now has the ability to switch from a Pin Registration mode, for perfect image stability , to a non pin registration mode to accomodate damaged or shrunken archive film.

diTTo incorporates Kodak Color Science for optimum film scanning performance. This includes full factory calibration from Kodak Motion Picture Services and gives the option of Kodak Display Manager for display calibration and image pre-visualisation.

imageMill2

imageMill2 is a real time image processing engine for GRACE noise and grain reduction and STEADY image stabilisation. imageMill2 runs on any network for a seamless Digital Intermediate, Data or Video workflow.

imageMill2 includes the following list of new features:-

• Real time SD, HD and 2k data
• 4k at over 10fps.
• Simultaneous GRACE and STEADY operation.
• Networking via Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel etc.
• Data File handling - DPX, TIFF etc
• Includes full remote user interface.

MMII/dataMill

The consummate film scanner, dataMill, has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of post production as it moves towards a data or digital intermediate environment. It is the most viable scanning solution available today, providing high resolution images at speeds of up to 15 frames per second and true 4k images at up to 3.75fps.

The dataMill film scanner enables easy, cost effective and flexible scanning in a range of situations making fully digitised post production a reality.

The dataMill film scanner can scan film at 2K, 3K and 4K data resolutions and in all film formats from Super 8 to 65/70mm, making it the most flexible investment for the Digital Intermediate environment.
